Default Hey Tirod-[EJ] or anyone else...

...that would know.

I have a 5th gen ex. I want the top of my tail lights to be clear, but I don't want to spend $100 on the clear/red replacements. It looks like you got the orange off, how?

I'm sure that there are sets of red/clear taillights on ebay that are less than 100 bucks nowadays. Or another alternative is to spray the amber half red with transparent red paint. I'm sure a search will net you some results on how this is done as I'm too lazy to type out how to do this.

Amber part cannot be removed on those tailights. Either spray over it red, orget a pair of clears and spray half of them red.

my buddy bought a set of clear/red off ebay and they ended up being a set of clear lights hand painted red on bottom and paid 120 for them so watch out for what you buy. no reputable manufacturer makes a clear on top red on bottom lights for the 92-95 civic to imitate the si lights. Just the red on top.

Yes it was very obvious that that was what happened with some of those lights.
