THEOLDMAN not doing so well
Not sure how many of you are still around but Al has been fighting cancer and had extensive surgery last year for it.
Well it seems it has come back with a vengeance and he is now having seizures. according to his son who posted to his FB account today the doctors have told them he is terminal at this point.

hello everyone who is friends with Al this is his son Rory. As most of you know my dad had extensive cancer surgery last year on his head. He even posted pictures. The cancer has come back and is terminal. He is not able to post on Facebook anymore. He is stable and seizures come and go so he is unable to get up much or talk much. I will keep you updated as to how he's doing through his page.

Hey guys,
Long time no talk/see everyone. I came in just for to drop a line about this as well. Oldman aka Al is one of the good guys of the world and it pains me to see him going through something like this. But he is also stronger then everyone else and know he won't stop fighting this. I know my thoughts and prayers will be going his way and hope everyone does the same cuz as Jon says he is HAN family.

Al is a big part of the community here (or what's left of it). My thoughts go out to him and his family. People have recovered from "terminal," and I wouldn't put it past him.

That's really too bad. He seems like a really good guy. From someone who has lost a parent in the past few years to cancer, it's really tough on the entire family. Hopefully Al is comfortable, as it can be a really debilitating disease in its final stage.
