eg's are from japan. dont think it stands for anything. but i really couldnt tell you. I have an eh2 although some may call it an eg. ek is 6th gen hatch, ef is 4th gen, ej is coupes. Im not entirely sure on all of it. It just stuff people use to be snobby to noobies.

 

its just a chassis code.

like how planes are designated ... 747, 767...etc.

 

Mine is EF, but there was no USDM DX equivalent in Japan so I have no other number!

 

EF3 I believe. They cover all the ZC, and lower models.

EF9 is the SiR
