they dont make as much power (160 compared to 170 from b18c) but the head flows better than the b18c head. i hear that a type r head is just a factory ported and polished b16 head :dunno: dont quote me on that

It's not a bad motor, most people here prefer the B16 OVER the B18, for price, as well as performance. I opted for the B16 Gen2 JDM for my car.
