Default Competition Tire Suggestion

I am looking for some input on what other people have used for competition tire. I have a 93 civic ex with a pretty modded out SOHC motor: I/H/E , Zex cam, Zex valve springs, Titanium retainer, MSD ignition, Chipped ECU, Fuel system upgrade comptech pump, Aem rail and regulator. Anyway my best time at the track with Potenza S-03 pole positions is a 15.9 at 89mph, with a crap 60 foot time. I am looking for a competition tire that will help this launch get off a little smoother. I know the car has it in it, it takes out Si's and some gsr's all day but at the track the tires just say no. thanks if anyone else has this setup or somthing like it post your times, thanks

Maybe you need to fool around with PSI..my S-03s never show sings of giving up at the track at 9/10ths, with beautiful control and feel transmitted through them.

Some swear by the Falken Azenis. Might want to check those out.

Azenis are not a great drag race tire. Try the BFG g-force drag radials. Or Nitto drag tires.

Ive read that azenis wear out fast and are to forgiving to beginners. Try some drag radials.

FOR THE TWO MILLIONTH TIME THE AZENIS DO NOT WEAR OUT QUICK. It all depends on your alignment settings. REPEAT THE AZENIS DO NOT WEAR OUT QUICK UNLESS YOU HAVE CRAZY ALIGNMENT SETTINGS. ok did everyone hear me? Do a search on Azenis from me and you will see.

Sorry man. Ivejust read posts where people were replacing them after six months. And alignment might have had something to do with it. So could driving very hard. I bow to your experiience.

I've posted this here at HAN about 50 times already this month. And on other boards like 100 zillion times. Even in competition forums.

Any tire will wear down quicker if you drop your car 2" and have crazy toe and camber settings. Some people are complete morons and shouldn't be posting "I only got 5000 miles on these tires".
