Default Keeping my ac with my gsr swap

Wasup everyone, here's my dilemma. I wrote this down once and somehow messed it up, so i'll try to make this quick. I just got my gsr swap done on my 95 civic dx hb. My girl is already complaining about my car not having ac this summer when it gets hot, so Im caving in. Now, I have the gsr compressor that came with the motor still attached to the motor. What can i do to keep ac? If i get the gsr hoses, will they fit the dx u pipe, the ac pipe that goes around and under the radiator? I know they will fit the compressor since they are from the same model but will the ends fit into the dx condensor and u pipe? if not, what will fit or what can i do? Holla at me and let me know fellas, thanks alot!!!

You can use an A/C mount from a DOHC VTEC DelSol and that will allow you to use your civic A/C compressor. I actually have this mount, but I'm using it. I'd be willing to trade you for mine and some $$ if you want it. I bought it brand new so...

PM me if you need it.

But is there anyway i can use the compressor from the gsr motor? I dont want to have to buy a whole new compressor, i dont have the old civic compressor.

I don't see why not. You'll have to use the GSR lines I think.

now, If i use the gsr lines, my question is, will the gsr lines line up to the dx u pipe and the the dx condensor. Like, is it a universal connection at the u pipe and condensor?

I believe it is. The condensor is located in a completely different place on the GSR though. I don't remember off hand how different the connection locations are....

I'll try to remember to look when I get home.

send me a pic of it if you can. A pic of the connections on the u pipe and condensor side, lol, obviously they will fit the compressor, but i need to see the position of the ends of the hoses on the u pipe and condensor side.

GSR has the AC condensor in front of the radiator. Civics use the side-by-side radiator and condensor. You'll have enough hose to reach, and the connections will be the same. My only concern would be that you'd have a lot of AC line flopping around in the engine bay.
