Default 90 h/b VS GSR

Hey whatsup, im new here , sold my prelude last week , bought a 90 hatch monday. Anyway 2 days ago i was showin my new car to a friend of mine , he has a 99 GSR , he used to take the prelude , 92Si , by 2 cars, and i ran 15.6 in the lude so his GSR is no slouch. Anyway i thought it would be close cause his GSR runs 14.7. Anyway i show it to him and ask to race. He said ya so we went out to this deserted Long straight road in the middle of no where , its were we always go.
His girl gets out and lines us up, he revs loud like 3 times , i jus smiled and held my rpm"s at 4500 , i didnt wanna be to cocky cause i didnt know if i was gonna win. She drops her arms and were off , Neck and Neck in first , 8100 i shifted to second and started to pull slowly, when i hit 3rd at 60 i had 3/4ths of a car, through 3rd i made it a lil over a car, hit 4th and maybe had 1 1/4 car lengths through the 1/4 , his front bumber was about 7 feet from rear bumber at the end. We go back and he gets out and g oes u finally beat me , happy, i jus smiled and said ya i am. Were goin to the track wensday or friday , im hopin for a 14.1-14.5 1/4 mile time , i know ill dip 13"s if i use my zex kit.

Did you buy the hatch with the swap done already or did you do the swap afterwards? I'm just curious. I've got an 88 hatch that I want to do a swap with but I'm just not sure what engine I want to use yet.

I know I could find a B18a from a junkyard for probubly less than $400, and I know a company called Raxles makes a kit to make the install easier. I'm just not sure which way to go. If I did the B18a, I could aways swap the head later to make it a Frankenstein or I could go with the much easier to do B16.

Decisions Decisions.
