Default d15b7-y8 mini-me swap qustion

this has probebly been answered numerous times but i dont feel like running a search.....would the stock d15 internals be able to hold up with the high reving y8 head?? like while im racing i dont want to blow a rod or somethin because the stock d15 internals cant take the high rpms of the y8.

don't be a cheapass just buy a whole Z6 or Y8 longblock they're like 300 bucks. If you can't even afford that you shouldn't be modding hondas, and even then you won't be happy with a z6/y8 on boltons.

yes true thats what i might be doing but i heard that with the y8 head swap you can get about 140-145chp because of the higher compression of the d15 bottom end...im probebly just gonna build up the d16y8 for all-motor
