Default Headlight Question...99 Civic

I bought some blue bulbs for my headlights (which are stock) and put them in but they just dont look right. The combination of blue light and orange corners just doesnt work...I'm sure I can find the white bulbs for the sides...but I noticed that there is one orange reflector in each corner. Since the headlight is one whole assembly, how do I get that orange reflector out of there so I can put a white bulb in to go with my blue headlights now?

thanks

I believe you can put the headlights in an oven until the sealant melts and the glass will come off.

When you say blue bulbs, are they xenon bulbs, or bulbs that produce a very blue looking light output?

I would reccomend not doing the whole blue light thing. 1. Your just asking to get a ticket since that is illegal. 2. They are ugly. 3. Taking out the reflector is also illegal, but probably not enforced very often.

Stay stock, or upgrade your bulbs to something decent like silverstars.

its very hard to get headlight bulbls and turn signal bulbs to match up. as for the little orange reflector, it won't affect the color of the turn signals if you change them to blueish white. just leave em, too much work for not enough change.

Cops will bug you unless your corners are amber or orange or something to that nature...I had blue corners once...not fun almost getting arrested for supposibly "imitating a cop"... VA cops are gay..

Yeah don't change the orange reflector, pigs love to pull us over, I have the same car and I put in the blue lights and thought about putting in everything else its just not worth it, cops and bike cops pull me over all the time if i would have taken out the orange reflector they would have given me another fix it ticket for sure I've driven right behind cop with the hyper white blue blubs cops haven't stopped me yet. Plus the Blub give off twice the light then the stock, much better brightness

What I did was I had the corner lenses off unless I'm using them as turn signals. So when I drive, only my headlights are on.

The only problem I have with this is that I can't find a way where I could have the parking lights on (when I only want the corner lights on) and then they shut off when I turn on the headlights. Then they proceed to work if I use them as turn signal lights. I'd like to be able to have this setup, but with no such luck. I know somebody here knows, just doesn't want to divulge that information.
