another newbie question
I have a 93 honda civic 2 dr coupe and it has a leak in the exhaust(i know this b/c its louder than it should be and when it was really cold here on friday(im talking like 0 to 2 below) the exhaust was coming around the side of my car. i know i could just get it welded but i would rather put a sweet exhaust system on it and i was wondering if ne one has ne suggestions on what to get. i go to college so i dont want ne thing too expensive. ne help would be great. :yumyum: :boink:

get a magnaflow catback....very nice system deep tone at low rpm and not too loud at high rpm but just lets people know you're around....hottexhaust.com sells them for cheap just around 300 and they have 2.25" mandrel bent stainless steel piping and a straight through muffler with about a 4 inch tip
ok im looking at hottexhaust.com and for the cat back exhaust does that include the exhaust pipes and muffler or just the muffler. i hate asking these types of questions  :dunno:

Magnaflow: No coating, 1 less resonator, 0.75" smaller piping. A LOT more BeNdS in the mid-pipe.
but... both mandrel bent... stainless steel... Bolt-on install... Doooood. That's like half-off for a N-1 look-alike that carries a Magnaflow warranty.
I need to replace everything from the manifold-back, so I think Ima hold on to teh hottexhaust link myself. That's a good deal.
Thanks Joe Pannone.

:edit: straight piping is one of the major design parameters for the N1. Any street-style exhaust system will have more bends than an N1  BTW have you seen the rs*r exmag (the fancy one, not the black one)?
its like this ________/ only one bend in the whole damn thing

As for the Magnaflow, their reputation preceeds them. They have a damn good product. If you buy one, get the "street" cat-back. Resonators are a good thing. You'll be glad you did after a multi-hour road trip. Trust me.
What I really like about the Apexi N1 over the N1 knockoffs is the 2 resonators. I tried to get a shot down the mid-pipe to show them off, but you can barely see the second one. The honeycombed part is in 2 different bends of the mid-pipe... I don't know of any other "knockoff" brand N1 that does that. That's why the Apexi N1 is one of the quietest 3" exhausts. I can't wait to bolt all this crap together and use it.
I'm a :whore: I know... sorry.
