Default 99 civic EX front bumper removal

i want to mesh my bumper on the bottom grill but it's really hard to do a clean job with the bumper on the car b/c i can't get behind it to secure the mesh...so, who here has taken off the front bumper to a 99 civic ex....and where are the bolts i need to take out?

Check out this PDF for installing the OEM foglights. It has detailed instructions for taking off the bumper. Oh, there should be a small tab on either side that you will have to pull down on underneath the bumper in the front. I don't remember if the instructions mentioned it. Good luck - it's really simple. Take your time and note how everything comes apart and where the bumper slides in. One other thing, protect the bumper while you have it off by putting it on clean cardboard or something that won't scratch it.

Sorry, I forgot the link. I would have to agree with NeverBX, but it's your car. http://www.hparts.com/pdf/20440.pdf

The hardest screws to get to would have to be the ones in the fenders. Turn your wheels all the way to one side to make it easier to access.

I like it too, you should just buy the inserts from Grille-Tech.com they're a really good site. Clean grilles that are much better looking than the stock grille.
