We've run into a problem. we can't get the thing that holds the studs off of the spindel ahhhh anyone know how?

 

Well, I looked in the helms manual I had on the compy here, and from the look of things I have to take the whole half-shaft (?) out, and remove all the things that make the car friggin move to even replace one little stud. So for the moment we used a thread file and we were able to get the nut on to about 4, maybe 5 threads of the messed up stud. But within the next month or so I'm replacing the axles anyway, so I'll just get em to do it then. I don't have the knowledge, or the tools probably to get it done right now anyway.
