I'm sure it'll fit, but how the hell did it break?

If it's from a '92-95 Civic, it'll work...they share the same engine bay as the Sol. '96+ Civic mounts are a little different.

I can't remember, did the 96-97 sols maintain the same motor mounts as the 93-95 and the 92-95 civics? Or did they use the same mounts that the 6th gen civics use? Totally different style. But either way, match the style, and it will bolt in fine. Take a pic, I wanna see this broken mount. It'll be a first for me! If it's the 5th gen and 93-95 style, I should have an extra one alying around I'd send ya for a few bucks.

'96-97 Sols are still on the EG platform with the older Civics and Sols.

They made no drastic changes to the bodies of the vehicles unlike the differences between the generations of Civics.

That's because where the Civic went from gen.5 to gen.6 in 1996, the Sol did not go to gen.2. It's the same car with a new front bumper skin.
