Default rocker arms/VALVE ADJUSTMENT

i still have a ticking noise on deceleration in my b18a swap into 92 civic. the noise slows down proportionally to how much the car is decelerating (i.e. tickticktick..tick....tick.......tick...........ti ck..stop) and its only on deceleration, whether im in gear or in neutral.

i double checked the valve adjustments, all are in specs. but i noticed that some of the rocker arms have a little sway back and forth. when i grab some, they wiggle back and forth just slightly, even when the nut is tight. is this normal? some do, some dont. thats why im asking. if its not, what the hell is wrong with them? could this be the ticking noise, the rocker arms vibrating back and forth? any help appreciated, thanks a lot!

I know some of the b-series motors have noisey injectors and that might be what it is. :dunno:

dont think its the injectors. i hear those, theyre separate. also, the ticking is on deceleration. injectors are all the time. but thanks!

its not really ****ing up, thats the thing. and its not the kinda noise that makes your spine twist 3 different directions simoultaneously either. it doesn't sound serious, its just annoying, but im not positive about that. the more i think about it, the more i think its the rocker arms.

can anyone tell me if what i described above in my first post is normal, or are they not supposed to have any sway whatsoever? if they arent, what stabilizes the rocker arm to not move??? any help appreciated, thanks a lot!!!

hey, i really need an answer on this. i talked to a buddy of mine and he said its no problem.

some of you have to have done a valve job lately, did you notice if your rocker arms jiggled a little bit side to side? thanks for the help!

also, im using the stock fuel regulator off the d15 instead of a b18 regulator. i think im not pushing enough fuel, so im gonna change it out to an adjustable aem one this weekend and set the right pressure. could this possibly be the ticking sound im hearing, not enough fuel pressure???
