My E brake light stays on sometimes and others it just goes off. Is it just a short?
And yes the brake is off. I have a 98 2.3cl.

 

The e-brake light comes on as a warning to indicate that it may be running low. Check your brake fluid... it might be running low. It happened on my car before and it just needed to replace and fill the brake fluid. Hope that solves your problem.

 

Back brake pads/shoes likely low. Check 'em.

 

Thanks for the ideas but i filled all my fluids about two weeks ago and i had my pads cheaked about 3 weeks ago. Thanks anyway.
