im thinking about coilovers to drop the car, whats the usual drop for a 00 civic EX? i just want the gap removed.

I run skunk2 coil-overs. I like them a lot... I think I'm dropped 2"-2.5".

If you just want the gap removed, I'd just go with springs. Go with coilovers if you want to vary the ride height from time to time.

well not only do i want the drop but i still want a stiffer ride. i was just interested in knowing what the usual drop was for a 00 civic ex, should 1.5" do it? or more?

There is no usual drop . Just don't get ractive coilovers they suck . you make the drop you like . 2.0 is a nice drop will cover all your gaps . go with good springs TRUST ME !
