Sucked water into CAI
Ok...as the title reads, i was driving and hit an unexpected big...HUGE puddle of water. Anyway, car bogges out and dies. I wait about 10 minutes and start it up agian and it trys to die so i gas it, and keep gasing it hoping it gets the water out. It runs fine now so im assuming everything is ok...should i check for anything or just let the filter dry up?

This is exactly the reason I got a short ram intake. Sorry to hear about that. It sounds like you lucked out, i've heard some real horror stories about CAIs.
I'm not trying to CAIs are bad, it's just that I've heard to many of these similar issues on sucking up water into the CAI.

didn't want to get a by pass valve? wonder if they really work though. but anyways that sucks, but yea it seems to me like you really did luck out, more than likely everything will be fine, but if you're dead serious about your motor you can pop open the valve cover and check the valves, and i'd take the opportunity to change out your oil, and just give it a good tune up, so that everything will just be fresh and good to go. i got the pleasure to live in cali so don't really see much horrible rain.
