polished header getting rust spots???

Default polished header getting rust spots???

i have a chrome polished header and it seems to be getting some rust spots on it. i dont know whats wrong with it....stainless steel isnt supposed to rust right.......or is the chrome header NOT stainless steel....please give me some feedback on how to remove this stuff or im just a plain idiot.

Well, a stainless steel header shouldn't rust (hence the name). But chrome could still be prone to rusting if not done properly. Judging by the brand that you got, I'd say they didn't chrome it properly.

so i should just junk this header and get a newer better one like a DC? thanks for the input

rust won't really hurt it until it creates holes in the header.

Chrome is also horrible with heat dissipation.

incorrect. there are different grades of "stainless steel" the lower grades... I think 404? will rust but the higher grade with the higher chromium content 304? will not rust.
