noise coming from right rear susp
Maybe you guys can tell me what this is because I have absolutely no idea what it is.
Whenever I accelerate a little more than the usual gas-saving takeoff or whenever I am braking while going up a slope, I hear a sound similar to "a wire hanger whacking against rough sheet metal and scraping a little" coming from the right rear wheel/suspension. I distinctly hear the vibration sounds of this "wire hanger" that is similar to someone pulling on a loose wire fence and releasing to let it vibrate through the air.
I initially thought that the springs may have been getting old and creaking but we have had old cars and none of them have ever made this sound and my 1997 Integra isn't THAT old yet (it's getting there though). It might also be a greasing issue but I don't want to go and grease everything just cuz I don't know whats going on. Its freaking my girlfriend out but again everything freaks her out.
Any ideas would be great.
