Default JDM Headlights

Ok i know that in Japan they dont run with the signal lights on, but what do they use for parking lights or do they not have them??

they dont have parking lights. but they do have courtesy lights. (we call them city lights) supposely...in tokyo or major cities...there's already a lot of light pollution...so they use courtesy lamps (lower wattage) instead of headlamps when driving around town.

oh ok thats what i thought. As u know i bought bumnahs hatch, when it warms up i will be putting on the JDM sidemarkers. I just thought they had some kind of light other the the norm place for parking lights. thats for the help.

other parts of japan theyre used at stoplights - main lights are turned off so not to blind people across the intersection, but still have light to be seen

the city lights are hooked up to the parking lights. so when you do the 1 click to turn on ur lights they are on

There's a really complicated how-to out on www.jdmfan.com (when it's up).

I have my headlights wired the 'JDM way'. I just cut the wire that goes to the dim filiment in my corners and rerouted them to go to my city lights. Now, when I turn on the parking lights, I get city lights, tails and license plate lights. When the turn signal is enabled my front and rear corners, and sidemarkers illuminate.

^ that how mine is set up... minus the sidemarkers but they will be on when it warms up.
