Default Megan Racing Header

I know simply by the fact that I never heard of them that they can't be great but I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this company or its stainless steel headers. www.meganracing.com

I got a 4-2-1 Megan Racing header for $50 as a temporary solution to my dilema.

My JDM 4-2-1 down pipe is all smashed in and there is no flange since it was cut out of the donor. So I bought this cheap header just so I could bolt up my new cat back until I can afford a good header.

I'll post pics of it later... It actually looks decent for an off brand header.. the flanges are nice and thick.

I was actually thinking of using just the down pipe from the MR one to replace my JDM down pipe and retain the JDM header hmotorsonline said they could get me the JDM down pipe but it would be at least a couple weeks.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking when I got it but it was only $50 and it is only temporary... very temporary.

I'm hoping to get the original JDM down pipe from hmotors when he's got some in a few weeks anyhow. This will give me a chance to get my JDM header out, cut off the heat shield tabs, clean it up, and possibly paint it .

It actually looks like like a decent header with good thick flanges but who knows how it was all welded. If they didn't use the right wire for the welding than it will surely start rusting out. Not to mention how it will perform on a dyno:dunno:

the fact that ive never heard of them, they have a name that suggest they are mugen wannabes and their header is $50 i wouldnt buy shit from them. the ebay headers are more expensive than that and those suck balls.

once again, you get what you pay for. but for your case it would probly work out

Yeah, I know it's a POS for sure. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of them.

They actually sell on their web site for like $300 but I got it on ebay for $50h:

BTW... If anyone wants a barely used POS header, hit me up in a few weeks and I'll have one for sale h:
