I recently installed a '99 JDM ITR motor into my EG coupe, and I have a few questions:

What gas do you guys use? I figure I should use 93 with octane booster. Is the octane booster needed?

What oil do you use? I was planning on using Mobil 1 sythenic?

Any other maintinence tips?

93/94 Octane is fine.

I run Mobil 1 only. I may look into Royal Purple, as I heard it's pretty good.

 

So I don't need the octane booster even though I have "high" compression (11.2:1) and a knock sensor?

Royal Purple is good too? I'll probably go with the cheaper cause I'm like that.

 

93/94 is fine. Unless they sell higher octane at pumps near you.

Octane booster isn't neccessary, and I have yet to even see proven results from those.

Mobil 1 should run you about $4-6 a quart.

Pics or BAN :fawk: Nah u should have a problem with the mobil One. I have heard that the octane boosters mess up ur engine. Just find the station that has the highest octane and fill it up there
