well i always though i was getting greddy evo, becuase it was a nice deep tone not to loud.. but, the tone is a tad to quite, its quieter than my friends aem v2. i still really like the exhaust, hes never had any problems with fix it tickets from the police.

ive heard so many differant things about n1s. ive heard there a perfect deep sounds not to loud, than i hear my ears cry after a car ride.

heres my question.. how loud is the n1?

i dont want screaming like a tababe. is it loud enough where a cop is going to pull me over and give me a fixit ticket?

i just want deep and slightly louder than evo and quiter than tanabes exhaust.

one more thing, ne hp diff between evo and n1... maybe like .5 hp?

Well, if I remember from the past, the top 3 Loudest full cat back exhaust systems, are Thermal (forgot which), Tanabe Racing Medallion, then the Apexi N1. The Tanabe was like 1 decibal louder than the Apexi. I had the N1 and it was loud. I lost a good amount of the loudness with the silencer, but then I didn't like the silencer on (it looked dumb with the silencer on IMO). I Now have the Greddy Evo, and it is way quieter than my old N1. I haven't gotten pulled over with the Evo yet. Had the exhaust for over a year now. Have you thought about the twinloop or rsr-ex mag?

Think about it this way. If a cop wants to be a prick and just meet his/her quota, they will pull you over for anything regardless of how loud you are. But if you want to lower your chances, you can stick with a quieter exhaust.

depends on where you live. Around here, there aren't any noise restrictions, or at least they are not enforced. I have NEVER heard of anybody around where i live being pulled over for exhaust.....but thats just around here......everywhere is different

Oh it definitely depends where you live. Here in San Diego, it happens all the time. I love seeing my friends cry when they tell me that they got pulled over for their exhaust again. I remember my friend and I pulled out from his neighborhood in Spring Valley and right when we got on the main road going towards the freeway, the lights came on and the siren was screaming. He was sporting the tanabe racing medallion we installed the week earlier. Cop said it was too loud. Before he went to court, he put on the silencer and then got it tested afterwards. The things we have to live with to be legal here in S. Cali.

lol ya i hear ya.. i live in oc.. my school is right right by a police station, but there pretty kewl about it. its the cops in laguna beach that are fags. my dad has a motorcycle thats crazy crazy loud and hes gotten 3 fix it tickets in 5 blocks down there.

what about power.. if worst comes to worst i could always reluctanly put in the silancer. so whats the hp diff if any.

while im at it, was the diff between the apexi n1 and the tsudo n1 besides 200 dollars?? im thinking the n1 is mandrel bend and tsudo is crush.. how much u think it would cost to get the crush bend to a mandrel bend?

the answer: THERE IS NONE
my tsudo is mandrel bent....and its sweet. take a tsudo product and slap an extra $400 on the price tag and bam...you have an apex product. anybody who says different is just trying to justify the extra money they wasted on a more expensive product.....just llike im trying to justify the money i saved
