Default Heater, doesnt get very hot?????

hello, i bought a 95 gsr in the summer and it has been great, a 740 dollar clutch from the acura dealership wasnt cool, but besides that its been good.
Now the winter has come and i have noticed the heater doesnt get very hot at all. My 92 prelude si the heater gets real hot. In my acura it only gets hot when you are driving. And it still isnt real hot. No matter how long the engine has been running it doent get very warm when it idles. Even if you at a red light after driving for a long time it still isnt hot at idle.
i didnt know if this was an integra thing or if there is somthing wrong with mine?

Id appreciate any feedback yall can give me.

Oh yes, the engine temperature read about 1/4 of hot, that is half way to the half way point.

Check my car out at www.cardomain.com/id/thasandman203

after seeing both cars...you don't deserve them. Take those taillights off and sell the teg to the lowest bidder.

The thermostat is probably sticking open causing the car to run too cool. Replace it, and change the coolant while you're in there.

This is the second time today Kai beat me to an answer! :fawk:

But hey, I think he's right. Of course, it you're driving in -15 degree temps, then it may never warm up all the way.

I just had the fluids flushed a couple weeks ago, and i dont remember the heater being luke warm before that, but then again it wasnt really that cold back then, so im not sure. I guess ill just replace the thermostat this week and see what happens. Thanks guys.
