Default questions about 86 integra vtec swap.

sup fellas, id like to welcome myself to your forum, i am a loyal mazda protege owner, and have recently purchased an 86 integra with the b16a1 engine to fund the further modding of my precious protege, I have a d16z sitting on my floor "wanting" to be implanted in to the 1g but honestly i have the slightest f'in clue if its possible. i have engine,(in about 50 pieces) ecu, tranny, and wireharness. what the hell do i have to do to make this work. I appreciate the help (i have to admit, honda/acura engine does have a nice tone to it at about 6000 rpm)

That's what I thought. The B16A is a completely different, more powerful engine that takes a lot of cash to get into an 86-89 body.

The D16Z6 engine would be hell to get in, and not worth the bother. Swap some ZC cams and pistons onto the D16A1 and you'll see that 10hp.
