Default Clutch master cylinder leak and engine check light

Okay... I need advice for two problems.

1)I recently serviced my car at the local Acura dealership (oil, transmission fluid, and coolant change) and they found a leak in my clutch master cylinder. I decided to leave it untouched for now.

I check later on my clutch master cylinder and find no leak... It should placed on the top right of the engine bay... and it looks clean. The reservoir is filled with fluid... nothing seems to be leaking.

Is there some other place related to the clutch master cylinder I should check for leaks? (nothing has been leaking under my car either).

2)Yesterday, when starting my car in the cold, I got the "MAINT REGO" light on my car coming up... it blinked a few times then faded off. It's been pretty cold out tehre (-10F) and I am not sure if the cold has to do anything with it. Since then, that same light comes up everytime I start the car.

Can it be related to that cylinder leak, and can it be something I can fix myself?

my clutch master cylinder went and i discovered it cleaning my floor mats...look at the pedals at the top...if there is a black residue almost looks like oil...then thats your clutch master cylinder...on mine it was leaking down the clutch pedal...its cake to replace...takes about 15 minutes...

kilpatty43 is right, when my clutch master cylinder went it leaked inside the car. Get it fixed as it will get bad fast and it's a lot cheaper than replacing your transmission.

the "Maint Req'd" light is not the same thing as the "Check Engine" light. it is just a reminder to get your car serviced. you can disable it by pressing and holding a square blue button, underneath your dash.

do a search on this forum for more info. it's been covered countless times.
