Castrol Syntec Oil
Well Im due for a new oil change and I just want to know if Castrol Syntec oil is the way to go.
I know synthetic oil is much more thin then just regular oil and that it last for more then 3K miles, but does it have that much of a diff. over the regular stuff?
and
I also was told that once you go synthetic with your oil, your motor is required to have synthetic for the rest of its life? Is that true?
For about $5 a quart, this oil better live up to its price!

I run Castrol GTX, with changes every 5000 miles or 6 months. In combination with Hastings™ Oil Filters, I have had very low oil consumption. It'll need about 1/3 qt of oil between changes.
I heartily recommend both products.
