Get OEM filters. Get the ones made by Filtech if at all possible, the newer ones are made by Fram. You can find this by reading on the side of the filter. I doubt that you can find them anywhere but online now though, the sites that I remember having them slip my mind right now but I'm sure someone will know.

but they dont use a bigger filter.... my goal is to have a slightly larger capacity, better filtration.... cooler oil in the end.... so im guessing nobody has tried using a bigger filter?

my friend upgraded his on his jeep and got an extra quart capacity

Oil filter is not an oil filter...tons of differences.

Bypass valves, different filtration material, amount of material, filtration area, etc etc.

A larger filter will increase filter element surface area in most cases, but also decrease oil pressure, which is very very important obviously.

Stick to the regular size.

The newer Honda filters are smaller than the older ones.

:ugh:, I wish I had the picture from when someone cut apart a Fram filter compared to a Honda filter. I'll try and find it if someone else doesn't first. I highly reccomend using OEM filters, they are only $2-4 more.
