Default Bag of Milk (500 gallon container version)

Went out to Illinois about a month ago and picked up this gem.

2000 F-250 PSD
148,000 miles

Once I got it home I installed the following upgrades:
MBRP turbo back 4" exhaust
S&B CAI
Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller
Glowshift 7-Color Turbo Set (Boost, EGT, Trans Temp)

It has salt all over it now or I would take pics with the upgrades on it. h:

Almost 20mpg on the way home. Went 560 miles on 3/4 of a tank.

Lose the cat, you will thank me later...first thing I did on my 99 and added a tuner, definitely woke it up and improved the gas mileage.

Congrats on the purchase

Cat is already gone

Programmer is coming as soon as I get paid by one of my contracts. Want to use it to clean up some of the shifting as well.

It is definitely a man's truck, has massive amounts of power. And it is great to just get it in and go to Lowe's or the dump, etc.

If the weather would ever clear up here, I will be able to go get the rest of the supplies to finish the outside of my house, which would be great as well.

Be careful how much you do on the stock tranny, they are not real strong.

My suggestion is to go find a used one in good shape and save up to get it built right so that when the current one goes out it is an afternoons work and you are back on the road, then use the stock one to go have rebuilt and upgraded in case the other goes out.

They usually last around 200k or so but towing regularity and driving style are two of the bigger factors, crank it up with a tuner and you add to the potential a bit.

Just a heads up that may save you some headaches.

Yep, that's what shitty Illinois looks like 8 months out of the year.

Nice pickup, though. That gas mileage is impressive.

$9500 out the door.

Still feel like the police are going to find me for stealing it.... Around here it would go for 15 or so.
