I'd say maybe 10K, but it depends on why it has a salvage title.
Also I'd have to say DON'T get that car, cause its an automatic.

Well I need the auto for my knee, so that's a must, but other then that, what should I ask for in dealing with a salvage title besides why it's salvage.

You would need a thorough inspection. There may be areas of the car that suffered damage that were only repair or replaced just to pass a once-over inspection. I try and shy away from salvage titles, but if you are set on it, definitely have it looked over with a fine-tooth comb by a trusted auto mechanic.

Ahh, that might be a hard thing to do. I have no clue who specializes in Acura's as I have a friend that has built Bugs before, but has no clue on Asian cars, just VW. Is AutoZone relible? Or something like Midus?

to tell u the truth, i would never buy a salvage title, because (most) banks dont loan out money for a salvage title, so that means you gotta pay cash.......and if you ever wanted to turn around and sell it, ud be dealing with the same thing...finding someone with cash......plus u dont really know how it was rebuilt, or how good the paint job is......personally i think its shady... spend 10k on a clear title:thumbup:

Yeah, I was planning on just trying to find a LS or RSX for in the range of 16, but I have no clue. I mean, I have 11k in cash, but like you said, you have no clue why it's salvage. I'll see about it, test drive it, etc.
