Default What exhaust would be best for my 97 GSR?

Im going to be buying a 97 GSR this month. I was wondering what exhaust would be best for me?
Here are the qualifications the exhaust system must meet.

A: I drive on the highway every once and while so I dont want something that will have a loud drone at cruising speeds.

B: I want a single exhaust that is as light as possible.

C: I dont want it super loud like an F1 car, or sound like I pissed off a hive of bees and they are chasing me.

D: It cant be made of something that will rust. It will be my daily driver and I will be driving it year round.

E: Horsepower !!!

Eventualy I might add a turbo kit.

Any suggestions?

good lord!! SEARCH! this topic is asked by every n00b.

but for those qualifications...you better stick with your stock exhaust, because aftermarket systems all decrease the creature comforts of a car. Your best bet would be the APEX'i World Sport - it looks stock, sounds stock, but isn't

Wow that was productive.

I actualy went back 8 pages looking for info about exhaust systems. I had a few things I was looking for in an exhaust system. There were no threads from what I saw that answered my questions.

Im sorry next time I write a thread on this site I will be sure and state that I already searched so you guys dont assume that I am just a noob.

I thought someone might acutaly have some usefull advice for me considering this is my first GSR and I am new to the site.

RS*R or apex'i WS gets my vote. They look and sound like stock, maybe a little bit louder.

If you plan on going turbo, you are going to need a 3" or close to 3" diameter exhaust. If I were you, I would wait until I was sure that I was going to go turbo(in case you change ure mind) and when I am about to start doing it, then get the correct diameter exhaust.
