b20 motor k20 head?

Default b20 motor k20 head?

im wondering if i can put the new k20a2 head on my b20. any one know?

You talking bout an RSX head? If so know. if not still no.

You can go w/ any b series head. Type R, b16, GSR. Do some research and check out. www.CRVTEC.com

k20 is not a b series motor, so therefore the k series head isnt going to fit on the b series block. have you ever looked at the RSX motor, it is backwords of the b series. so no.

even if it mated, the cam gears are for chains, while the gear on the block (dont know the name) is for belt. Not to mention the whole i-vtec thing...

help me clarify this:

doesn't a K-series motor run in the conventional forward stroke while the older Honda motors such as the B-series runs backwards? if this is so, would this have any effect when it comes to the head?

--hypothetically, lets' say the K head fits the B block. since the K-series head is reversed from the B, when flippin it around, would the cams and pulleys be in the right direction and everything would run correctly? just a thought!!! :thumbup:

your exhaust and intake cams would be switched...
