Make sure you read the fine print:
" the vehicle actually awarded to Grand Prize Winner may differ from vehicle depicted in advertisements and in TRL and that the vehicle depicted therein is a show vehicle for display purposes only which cannot be driven. Furthermore, Grand Prize Winner acknowledges that arrangements for the "federalization" of the Prize Vehicle (i.e. making it "street legal") must be made prior to fulfillment of the award of such Prize Vehicle to Grand Prize Winner, that the process of federalization can take months or years and that Electronic Arts may not succeed in obtaining federalization. Even in the event that Electronic Arts obtains "federalization" for the Prize Vehicle (i.e. making it "street legal"), the Prize Vehicle, being highly specialized and customized, may nevertheless not be suitable for driving by Grand Prize Winner. MTVN and Electronic Arts reserve the right in their sole and unequivocal discretion to substitute the Prize Vehicle with a prize of comparable value, including the Cash Prize"

So basically if she chooses the car then she has to pay another 25k to Motorex to legalize it. All I have to say to that is OWNED!!!!

 

Even if she does pay 25K to legalize it, they still don't have to let her have it because "the Prize Vehicle, being highly specialized and customized, may nevertheless not be suitable for driving by Grand Prize Winner."

if i were her i would just take the cash prize and buy another car like a rx-7 or supra. i'm not saying she can't drive it but for a 19 yr old. i doubt she could maintain that car. insurance would probably rape her, and the money it would cost to do routine maitenence on it would be killer as well. to own a skyline i think you would need to have a good income to keep the car espcially an R34.

 

she could always take the car and sell it on ebay.

 

yea but its not legalized so it would almsot be the same thing buying it from motorex. unless she doesn't know what she's doing and sells it way underpriced
