Default Opinion Question

My sister and I set a spending limit on each other for the holidays of $50. She and my bro in law were going to spend $50 on me, and I was to spend $25 on the each of them. She told me that I should get him a GC to Home Depot and her a GC to Bed Bath and Beyond for housing stuff. Well, she told me Friday that she and my brother in law just bought a new house. So, I am thinking of spending more on them since its a new house and they are not going to spend more money fixing up their current one, and I also won some extra cash in A.C. sat night. So, should I get them both $50 or $75 GC's or just stick to the $25/piece.

If you want to go more, I'd do that since it can be an xmas gift and a house warming gift

Double up on it and consider it a dual gift.

Rules were made to be broken and this is for the right reasons really.

I would give them more since buying a house is the cheap part. It's all the furniture and appliances, etc to fill the house is the expensive part.

We spent nearly 10K after we bought our house to "fill" it up and we're still not done.

Fridge, washer/dryer, etc cost mad $$$ yo

yeah, she is freaking out about it. They bought a two bedroom townhouse while they were engaged but their new place is a 4 bedroom. It is going to be pricey since she really wants some new appliances and has no intentions of upgrading the included dishwasher/range. Maybe I will stick to the original gifts now and save some money for a big GC to sears. They don't even break ground until June.

She is really excited but while current place is 10 mins from my mom's while her new place is 30-40 mins :happysad:
