Default Sideskirts, Trim, Door Handle Removal

I just ordered my front lip. I am planning on painting it to match my car (silver). So I figured I might as well paint my Stock sides, trim and door handle silver while I'm at it.

So my question is, how do I get all that off without breaking clips or something? I have no idea how any of it is attached, so any info would be helpful....thanks.

(I did a search, but couldn't find any good details)

others will disagree, but I say remove the inner door pannels and squeeze the clips from the inside to remove them from the doors.

Sideskirts are easy: just remove the front screws from the inner fender well and the plastic screws underneath the car. The SS will slide forward and then pull out and off.

hih

not sure on the 6th gens, but on the 5th there's a screw in the door pull cup, door open handle and a little plastic one with a retainer near the front. You also have to remove the little pin on the window crank (if no power windows). Then just pull...

unscrew the door handle from inside, and the handle to close the door, remove speaker and screws under it, pry the bottom off(clips will pop) then lift back of door panel and pull outward. The front should slide free from its seating.(works on my 2 door)

door clips are pretty strong, just be careful, and make sure you get every screw you see. Then pull straight out to pop the clips without breaking them

How do I get the trim off the front fender? Take the fender off?

Also, how do I get it off the rear panel?

You can remove the fender well lining to get to the one on the fender.

Don't know about the rear pannel.. sedan it's all the same.
