Default How do I adjust the drive belts?

I was going to do my maintenance and comparing the 30k service sheet I have. One of the things that said was done was "adjust drive belts". How do I adjust the 3 belts and how do I know if they even need adjusting?

are your belts squeaking at startup? if not, i wouldn't worry about it... how many miles do you have on each belt?

if its not squeaking, inspect it for wear and tear

Inspect them for tears, feathering, etc. My Chilton manual lists what all belts should be tensioned to, I use the old school ruler method to check "play". The manual explains how to do that too, very easy!
