Default A question on Halo headlights set up

I know that there are a couple threads on this topic, but all of the ones i've read don't address this topic specificly or well.

The wires for the battery on the harness (there are two), do you have to connect them both to just the positive or negative side of the battery or do you connect one to each side of the battery? (They are both red wires). The harness that came with the halos looks just like this:

One more question, what about the black wires with the rings at the end, they seem to be ground wires that connect to screws but i'm not sure.

i have a pair of halo lights on my car and when i hooked both wires up to the battery they worked good for a night. then the next day my lights were on and i could turn them off so i took them off the battery. then rehooked them up and blew the bulbs so i went and got new ones. Yea i blew those too. so i just took all the wires off the battery and lights. i pluged my stock connection into the halo light and the work now. i havent had any trouble since. i wouldnt even use the wires they gave you. but if they work go for it. the halo ring wires go stright to you turn lights. well good luck with everything.

Don't the wires under the lights go to the turn lights? I hooked them up to the turn lights and they work like they're supposed to. The only problem I have is not knowing where to put the black wire with the ring on the end that comes from the harness :madfawk: .... i mean :fawk: .... oops... .... i mean thanx for the info anyways

Yeah its simple ! I have that harnest on my car right now I was the one who posted that picture . The 2 red wires go to the + direct . The 2 black ones are grounds . You will be able to take off a screw right on your radiator support and insert the ring then the nut go inside the car and test its that simple . I was a dick for asking that question cause I installed the harnest after I removed the halos lol! GOODLUCK !

what do you do if the lights (the actual headlights, not the halos or the turn signal) don't come on?

well, i finally got them in and working after two nights of late night toiling. They work great, the only problem I have is that the harness thing is supposed to make both high and low go on at thesame time and it didn't do that. Oh well. My halos also blink when the turn signals go on. I don't mind that though, it kinda looks cool. thanx for the help. bitches! :fawk:
