Snow ownage/guardrail kissage
Got snow?
A helluva day yesterday. Commuting to work was stupid. The only other cars out there were getting stuck or were soon-to-be stuck. Treading lightly (<20mph?) down the curved on-ramp to I-95, my front end was not changing course, heading right into the guard-rail. I only tried to turn, like, 5 degrees, but the guardrail just kept coming. With a couple of millisec left, I remembered to give the e-brake a yank (for just a tad), the ass came 'round, allowing me then to release the brake & just kiss the Armco. No damage, just knocked the dust off my back bumper corner. Two similar close calls to follow before getting to work. Stopped to help an Asian woman in a 4 dr Integra stuck in the LEFT lane of I-95, waiting to get exploded by a tank truck. Had to help her out. 1st time I ever stopped on the left shoulder of any interstate (fortunately, she was next to an official-use-only turn around, where I parked. She was clueless. Her wipers were going full blast, as was her heater. You couldn't hear how your traction was doing. Tip you probably know: Keep your head out the door when trying to get unstuck so you can watch the tires. Was idling my car for almost 30 min. on empty while getting her out. Then had to get gas, call in late on the cell. It was a beautiful day.

its been the same scene here in South jersey too although the roads are cool now. So what am I left with....a dirty ass Teg with the stock wheels on. It just looks wrong. I cant wait untill the snow melts and the rain washes away the salt on the roads so i can put the good ol 17's back on.
