so I got a tattoo to honor my parents' memory

I will never forget the day the property owners in front of my parents house cut down my moms sunflowers that were on the property line. She broke down like I'd never seen before. My dad drove trucks his entire life. His call tag was "Free Bird." My mom absolutely loved hummingbirds. Always had feeders as long as I could remember. On the day that we returned from my dads wake, my parents magnolia tree had bloomed one lone flower. For the first time ever. My dad passed away in 2003 after a very short bout wit non-hodgkins lymphoma. My mom passed away in 2010 after a 6 month battle with pacreatic cancer.

Thanks guys. I've been wanting something to commemorate them for a while and I came across the idea thumbing through a tattoo magazine while waiting on my girlfriend's appointment. We took the idea, incorporated my criteria for what was in it and rolled with it. I'm very happy with it.
