Knock Sensor Question-Check Engine Light ON

i put a b16a into my 90 acura integra and my engine light comes on. it gives me code 23 wich is my knock sensor . i live in cali and i cant pass smog with my cel on. need info plz.

try resetting it. i dont think the knock sensor is necessary to pass ur emissions test.
