Im finally puttin my zex kit in on my 97 ls with 100k miles on it motor seems good don't blow smoke and have had no problems with the zex kit im installin aem fuel rail rc 270cc injectors b&m command flow regulator aem fuel filter do u think i need a fuel pump cause i really don't want to have any problems and if so is walbro the way to go im also nervous about puttin an aftermarket fuel pump in cause sometimes aftermaket parts are jus not built the same as oem and if somthin goes wrong with the fuel pump while jucin good bye motor

on a 97 ls with dc sports 4-2-1 header straight pipe world sport exhaust and aem cold air would run a 1/4 in with a 75 dry shot

Don't bother with the injectors, you're just gonna run rich. You don't need a fuel pump. Do a compression check to make sure the engine is ok. Replace your timing belt if you didnt do it at 90k.

i ran a 65 shot with only running colder plugs. I had intake and exhaust. My motor did blow up a couple weeks ago. It had 120k on it. I have a friend that also has an ls motor and he is running a 75 shot and seems to be fine. He has intake and exhaust. He only ran colder plugs too. He didnt retard his timing or anything. He wanted to blow his motor bc he has a new one so he ran hotter plugs for a while and nothing happened. With the nitrous and slicks he ran a 14.6 or 14.8 at bandemiere in colorado.
