Thanks. The car is in great shape. It looks better than many newer cars on the road with far fewer miles. I get compliments on its clean look all the time, and the neighbours can attest to the fact that it gets washed/waxed often. The pictures don't lie. The (clean) engine still pulls strong and it is still a blast to drive. I really would like to sell it so I hope someone buys it real soon.

What problems are you talking about? Please enlighten me.

Any well built car that has been regularly maintained and not abused can be driven for a very long time with no problems. Wear items such as oil, brake pads, tires will still need to be changed when it is time to change them, regardless of the car's (mile)age. In this case some big ticket wear items (clutch, trans bearings, flywheel, timing belt, water-pump) have already been replaced. Good for the buyer. Small ticket wear items have also been replaced in the last 6 months. Visit your Acura dealer and find out what gets checked/replaced when the car goes for the 90,000 mile service.

Unless you have proof of well-maintained Integras falling apart at 100k miles, please don't disparage my property. If it wasn't for the fact that I have to buy a tow-vehicle for my race car, I would have no problem driving this car for the next couple of years. Lack of garage/parking space means that when I get the tow-vehicle, the R has to go.

Like any mechanical device, good maintenance and minimal abuse will make it last a long time.

i wonder how many miles will the car last if i keep the maintenance that you've given it.

 

keep the same maintenance and you should be able to get another 102400 miles out of it

 

I've seen Integras with 300,000 + miles on the clock w/o a rebuild. Biggest maintenence done was a new clutch.
