Default smaller fron wheels for racing?

Currently i have 17's on my integra. I have a crx si that is just sittiing outside. I thought maybe if i took the stock crx 14s/15's with most tread left, and put them on the front of my car that it might make a noticible gain? any ideas? thank you in advance.

my current setup is: i/h/e hi flow cat, plugs/wires, msd ignition, and 35 shot.

The 14s might not fit over your front brakes.

The smaller diameter wheel will make you a little quicker.

Ok, say you are in first and it will take you up to 32mph with the smaller wheel. It will get you to 32mph faster than the bigger wheel.

With the bigger wheel it will take a little longer to get to 32mph, but will take you past 32mph. See what Im saying?

The concept is like 410 rear end gears and 373 gears.

410 gets you to top end faster but with a lower speed.
373 or whatever takes longer to get to top end but has a higher speed.

not necessarily true.

14" civic VX wheels (kinda look like rota circuit 8's) won't fit on my teg, which also has 14" wheels. It won't clear the brake system.
