Active notice canceling, over the ear and preferably 300 or under

Only ones I can find are the beats by dre studios and Bose quietcomfort15

I've looked at the vmoda crossfade m100s but they don't have active noise canceling.

No real suggestions although I have enjoyed my Sennheisers, but I don't have the NC on them.

I will say that if you buy Bose or Beats then you are a fool with too much money in your hands.

Yeah, that seems to be the general consensus. :hs: However, those are the only two I can find that meet the criteria.

Why the need for NC or is it just a preference? There are a lot of great options outside of that requirement and honestly there are very few situations where NC is a plus.

Yeah, not noise cancelling, but these are the best headphones I've ever purchased.

Beyerdynamic BD770. If you can live without active noise cancellation and a somewhat tight fit, they are superb. And unlike the Sennheisers of late, they are built to take a serious beating.

+1 on these....

I've also got the Bose QC15... sound quality to me is the same as the M50 but they were more expensive, the noise cancelling is great. Although sometimes it gives me a headache...

I just use the Samsung ear buds that came with my S4 which sounds pretty amazing. I think they sound just as good if not better than my old Beats [in ear style] as well as my Sennheisers.
