I just downloaded a game that has been spilt into many different files, and ext of the file is .001, .002 and goes to .040. But I have no idea how to open these. I've tried WinAce cause thats what I thought is supposed to open them but nothings worked. Anyone know how to open these and extract them so i get a single file??

I've tried that also..

 

winrar and double click on the crap.01 or crap.rar file

 

I did that, but i its not recongized, so I had to actually select "open with> winace/winrar" and all it says is the archive is unknown

dude use winrar and force it to open the .001. it works your doing something wrong

OR... they did something wrong when they made it.

trust me, I've done tons of cd's that come in .001 -.050 ish.... winrar
