i really want to be a doctor when i get older

but is it really worth going to school for 8 years? seems like a long ass time, but its something i really want to do. but i dont know if i ever want to pursue it

Do whatever your heart desires. If you want that as a profession, go for it. Being a Doctor is hard but I bet it pays off at the end.

you don't have to go to school for 8 years...you can do it in 7...but then you have residency for 2-4 years after that which pays shitty....
