Default 2 people dropped out of class today.

The first one was passing a combine and tractor on a 2 lanes road and almost hit a Short Bus. She was sent home.

and the second one went 20 miles off the route. They came back to the yard about an hour late, and the instructor was ripping into him. He just got into his car and left.

The class is slowly thinning out.

On a more upbeat note I was able to perform a perfect alley backing 3 times in a row

Do they give you a vest and one of those hats with the white front and mesh backs when you graduate.

You should see the man show skit about truck drivers. It was great.

Are you supposed to buy your own truck or do you sort of just borrow it from the company you work for.

The latter

This company I work for leases its trucks from owner operators and you get put with a owner operator that best fits you.

Later on when/if I buy a truck I lease it to the company

i try so hard not to be a hated "4-wheeler" to those truckers. so many people cut them off and drive recklessly around them, it pisses me off. sure i've never driven an 18 wheeler, but i've driven those trucks that are about the same size as those staples delivery trucks, and shit, even that was hard.
