My spin at 70+mph :)

I attended the Central PA Region SCCA autocross on Sunday. It's held on an airport runway. It's HUGE!

We got 5 runs and on all my runs I shifted to 3rd. Well I tried to shift to 3rd before a chicane, when I did the weight transfer and the chicane made me go backwards and I was heading towards one of the landing lights!

I thought my bladder was going to explode! Luckily I came to a stop about 5 feet from the lights, but then it took me about 30 seconds to get my car started back up. Car was puttering back to the pits!

good thing you're ok. is there damage to the car? how long is a lap? over 1 min i'm guessing

wow...

it just goes to show how lost i would be if i was driving. those cones dont have any kind of direction to me
