Default California Type R?

I was just wondering what exactly the California Type R is. I know i've seen cars with the California Type R front conversion, but is it an actual car? And is this conversion rare?

no its not an actual car. its just a conversion kit that uses CL headlights on an integra. no they're not rare. a lot of people have them.

a lot of places sell different versions of it. i got the pic from www.andysautosport.com

i've heard a lot of bad things about the kit though, poor quality, brackets for lights incomplete, poor fitment, etc.

i'd rather save up and get a JDM front.

just because the kit bears the type r name doesnt mean it should be put on a type r.

see the thing that confuses me is that in HIN chicago, a car with that California Type R conversion and a lot of undercarriage lights won the Import Wild competition. It had absolutely no engine work done to it...that's why i was wondering if it was rare.
