No Power
Me and my freind just finished dropping in my motor, B18CR, and we started to start up the car. It cranked, and cranked. Then, when it cranked again, something went "Pop", like as is something sparked...and lost all power to the car. We used a battery jumper box(which was fully charged) or whatever its called, and it still is not getting any power. All fuses seemed fine, checked all the ground wires too. What I dont understand is, if the battery jumper is connected to the battery, wouldnt there at least be power throughout the car? Nothing electrical works at all. Is it possible to short the ecu? Please help!! Trying to at least drive this damn car before it starts snowing!!!
Test main relay, and igniter, per instructions in manual.
Check your grounds again, that's what I think it is.
Oh yeah, might as well type in the fundamental infos on the swap. ecu/chassis/wiring/

Are you sure the main battery fuse in the underhood fusebox is good. Those can get busted sometimes and will make a pop sound when they go. That would explain why you don't have power anywhere in the car.
Thnks for the help!! I will have to go back to my freinds shop and check everything again, and what everyone recommended. As for the main ecu and battery fuse, I did check it at that time, and it seemed fine. If it were blown, then the little "brass" looking strip would be broken rite? Well, let me go back and check again, and thanks for the pic!
Just wanted to thank u all for your help. I did manage to find the problem, and it was a stupid one too. The main ground wire from the battery was not grounded well, as the car was re-painted and it seemed wasnt having a good connection through the paint. Hopefully the car will be done soon now. Thanks again.
